The meeting was dedicated to preparing the 38th EU-Japan Inter-parliamentary Meeting, scheduled to take place in Tokyo on 9-11 May 2018. There was an update by the EEAS on latest developments in relations between the EU and Japan (via visio Conference) and exchange of views on the draft programme and draft agenda for the IPM.
